Dunkin’ Donuts recently shortened their name to Dunkin’ to put an emphasis on customer relationships and coffee. It was our job to get the word out, so we created #CorrectYourCup
On National Coffee Day, bring a misspelled Starbucks cup and ID into any Dunkin’ location for a free cup of coffee poured into one of our new, limited edition #CorrectYourCups.

Dunkin will use Geo-targeted Instagram posts that will be pushed when an individual is near or in a Starbucks. Customers will also use #CorrectYourCup to highlight their reactions to their name being spelled right. Lastly, through social listening, Dunkin’ will respond to those who have been previously wronged with a free drink coupon.
To gain more earned media Dunkin’ will respond to celebrities who have been wronged by gifting them with reusable cups.
